My Blog according to ADDIE:

Analysis
Who are your users?
The users of my blog will be parents and teachers in addition to students (with my guidance).
What do you want them to be able to do as a result of using your web site? They should be able to respond to posts and enter their own posts
What have others done that is similar? I have not seen an edublog in my school district as of yet.
What performance drivers might prevent them from learning with this tool? (skills/knowledge, motivation, environment, incentive) It might be difficult at first for teachers if they dont see the incentive, for parents if they are not familiar with the technology and for students if they dont see all three.

Design
What do you want users to be able to do when they visit this site? I want them to be able to read annoucements, thoughts, posts, student entries and to give feedback
Is it a recurring effort, or a one-time project? It is a recurring project.

Development
What tools (or combination of tools) will you use to support the site? I will use the edublog environment to keep the site up and running.
What customizations will you need to do to your site? I will need to customize it more by getting rid of past class entires or things that do not make sense to my audience.
Are you happy with how well it turned out? Yes, I am happy with it. In fact I was so happy that I created a blog for our family's yearly San Elijo Beach camping trip.

Implementation
How will you introduce this to the class? I will introduce it via a writing lesson and use it as an extension.
What do you have to do to get permission from the powers-that-be at your school? i will have to have each student fill out our yearly internet usage agreement.

Evaluation
How will you know if this site is helping your users reach the objectives you’ve defined for them? I will create a survey and will ask users to respond after it has been in use for some time.
