Just a note to say how much fun I had creating my first podcast. I had never worked with Garage Band or podcasting so the whole idea was "greek" to me. After an overview by Greg, one of our class members, I was ready to attempt it. WOW! What a great time I had laughing at myself, my mistakes, my silly ideas and finally my grandkids in my final product.

My podcast is here, click on cordoba1.

My question, it is a link that goes to the audio. It works, but it looks so different from yours. How can I insert the play button like you? I have to admit, I was just guessing. I see you said we will get more instructions later? Garageband is tricky.

Audacity and LAME are very easy to use. Take it from me -- I am not an audio engineer and I could figure it out!

I was glad to see your garage band screencast. It explained the editing process well.

The sound worked well throughout, except when you "played" the tracks or demonstrated ducking.

One more question: The first paragraph on this page states that we will make two podcasts. I see an explanation of the first but not the second. Professor Karl, can you please help me find the explanation of the second? Thanks :)

Question about the content of the podcast: Do I need to convey any specific instructional content, or is this more an exercise to run through the steps to publishing a podcast?

Thanks! :)
