OK, I was just browsing through the entries and saw that someone had already posted the video I did. So here is one that I just find amusing because I love cats:

Being that it is an election year and all, I found this video extremely humorous:

I found this one to be entertaining. They took the first televised presidential debate and had NIxon debate with Kennedy. I wonder if the people who watched the debate had a different opinion of who won from those that just heard the debate on the radio.

I found this interesting. It sort of resembles Karl's, same message. I wish we could play this the first week of prep for my staff! We need more teachers on board with the 21st century way of learning.

EdublogsTV

I could have stayed on the Edublogs.tv site for hours. I discovered several videos I could use in presentations and some great ideas for creating my own videos.

Two of my favorite videos were:

The Best Inservice Ever! A Funny Thing Happened Leaving No Child Behind.
http://www.edublogs.tv/play.php?vid=142
Just a chuckle to share with a group of teachers…

Pay Attention- Teaching 2.0 digital natives (21st century learners) to pay attention
http://www.edublogs.tv/play.php?vid=295
The best quote in the video: "When I go to school I have to power down!" How true that is for 80% of our students, we need to meet the needs of our 21st century learners.

I was disappointed with:

The Essay- A girl recites a her story of technology in the future.
http://www.edublogs.tv/play.php?vid=236
The video started out great, it actually gave me an idea for a student project, but it ended up being a commercial, "boo-hoo".

This is video showed how to embed a voicethread into an edublog -- very clear, just like an edtec tutorial. Now I just need to learn more about voicethreads!

I put in a search for "math" -- not too may videos showed up (like 4). One was a scary math rap. One was this funny Abbot and Costello bit where he is showing how 7 x 13 = 28.
